Watch: Casemiro rounds off Hall of Shame showing by being bullied off the ball in build-up to Palace’s fourth

Manchester United’s debilitating injury crisis has led to Casemiro deputising at centre-half alongside Jonny Evans.

In fairness, a 32-year-old and 36-year-old lining up against the likes of Eberechi Eze, Michael Olise and Jean-Philippe Mateta didn’t fill the Old Trafford faithful with too much optimism from the get-go.

And they were only proven right in their lack of faith, as both veterans have had rings run around them tonight.

Casemiro, in particular, has had one of the most dismal showings of his career. He was dribbled past four times in the first half alone and was woeful in the build-up to Olise and Mateta’s goals prior to the interval.

For Olise’s second of the night, the Brazilian was easily dispossessed by Daniel Munoz while looking like he was in no-man’s land at the byline.

Munoz squared it straight to his French teammate, who then fired home a scintillating and unstoppable strike to extend Palace’s lead to 4-0.
