Tyreek Hill reveals where he wants to finish NFL career

All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been electric in his first two seasons with the Dolphins, and he still has a lot of good football left in him.

However, the 30-year-old spoke about his eventual retirement on the "Around The Bar" podcast and revealed where he hopes to finish his NFL career.

"I would like to retire in Miami, but we all know how the NFL is, how jobs go ... Miami is a great city, man," Hill said. "I love the team I play on, love the guys in the locker room, love the head coach, love the GM. So that means, 'Sign me.' I love all you guys so much, I want to stay in Miami forever, man. Keep me there."

Hill still has three years left on his current deal after signing a four-year, $120M contract extension in 2022, but there is no more guaranteed money starting in 2025.

Plus, in the final year of his deal, which expires at the end of the 2026 season, he has a base salary of $43.9M and a $56.3M salary cap number.

It's safe to say he won't play at that number, so some kind of business must be done. Miami could revisit it as early as next year.

Either way, Hill is worth every penny. Over the past two years, he's reeled in 238 catches for 3,509 yards and 20 touchdowns, averaging over 100 yards per game.

Hill will have to continue playing at a high level to receive another raise and surpass the Eagles' A.J. Brown to become the highest-paid wide receiver in the league once again, but he seems to believe he'll outplay his current deal at the very least.

"I'm trying to use these legs until these legs don't work no more," Hill said.

For now, Hill has the intention of continuing to torch secondaries for many years to come. Only time will tell if they will all be with the Dolphins.
