Yordan Alvarez got us off to a fast start this week with a home run on Monday night to cash our +300 ticket. Let's keep the good times rolling with my three favorite HR prop bets for Tuesday's MLB slate.
If you're going to give me a home run price on Kyle Schwarber that starts with a four, I'm going to jump on it every single time. This price is so high because the wind will be blowing straight in at Citizens Bank Park on Monday night, but Schwarber hits upper-deck tanks on a regular basis. No amount of wind can stop his hard-hit balls from going over the fence. In 10 career at-bats against Pittsburgh Pirates starter Mitch Keller, Schwarber is batting .700 with a home run and four doubles.
The Los Angeles Dodgers find themselves in a smash spot for home run props in Game 1 of their Tuesday doubleheader against the Colorado Rockies. Ballpark Pal is projecting a 34 percent boost to home runs at Coors Field due to the friendly hitting conditions in Denver, and Rockies starter Chase Anderson has surrendered 17 homers in 18 starts this season. Let's roll with Mookie Betts, who leads the Dodgers with 39 home runs and should never be priced above +300 at Coors Field.
We're doubling down on the Dodgers in Game 1 for the reasons listed above. For our second selection, let's go with Jason Heyward. Heyward has hit 13 of his 15 homers this season off right-handed pitching, and he's already taken Anderson yard once in 28 career at-bats against him. The familiarity should help him out here.
